i recommend using the emodio software (http://www.emodio.com/support/emodio/em ... wnload.jsp) so much easier to use and is more stable than Samsung Media Studio

I downloaded emodio and tried to convert an .mp4 video file to an .svi. I get as far as highlighting the file, right clicking and selecting 'convert file'. I then get promptly kicked out of the whole program. I was getting a pop up about ffs of some sort first. Any ideas?

Maybe there is somthing wrong with the video.
Try converting it to another format first (avi or mpg) then convert it to svi.
There are many free converting programs that will do this.
Try googling WinFF or Any Video Converter Free.
I would give you some links but it is kinda hard to do on a iPod touch.
