Student Laptop +Graphics
I'm looking for for a good student laptop [PC]
I need it for Uni, so size and portability matter.
I'll be doing a Graphic Design course, so I need a dedicated graphics card [+some gaming, L4D2 is coming around soon!]
Minimum Specs:
Dual Core Processor 2GHZ
2GB RAM
150GB HDD
13" screen
Dedicated Graphics [or equivalent]
Specs need to stay around the above level [a little higher would be fantastic] to keep the price down
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

how much are you planning to spend? there isnt alot of choices in australia for 13 inch laptops, maybe Studio XPS 13 laptop from dell is ok? the base graphics are somewhat weak nvidia 9400m. might need to go for that $2000 config for better value out if your gaming

The XPS 13 is a bit pricey, besides - I only really need 256-512mb graphics
I don't really mind if its a bit bigger than 13", as I know 13" are rather expensive
Anything between 13-15.6" is a fine size.

jbhifi has a nice range of laptops with decent specs, but are mainly 15 inch ones. and the dell studio 15 can be a nice choice too but you'll have to wait a bit to get rid of that "fast track" and customise it with a few other things like a backlit keyboard
