Say goodbye to Music Centre

CNET which is now owned by the CBS corp. decided to pull the plug on the music service here and in the U.S. So if you were wondering why the Music Centre is no longer available that's the reason. You can thank CBS for that! I posted a forum thread at the U.S. Cnet and got some responses from some angry artists that their music was no longer available to the general public from that service. Here in the U.S. if you tried to access music.download.com you are redirected to a British web site called last.fm (also owned by CBS of course). Although you can get some free mp3's there, most are for sale only. I am going to miss listening to and downloading free mp3's from up and coming artists. The bottom line is corporate greed has no limits!
