I have literally 100's of music CDs I would like to transfer to a large Hard Drive - how is it best, fastest and easiest to do this? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I think that your best bet is to audio rip your audio files by using a program like Nero and depending on how long the songs it may take awhile but its worth it. Estimating you will probably need a 150gig hard drive. then you can listen to them as much as you like without losing the quality of the original track that's if they aint already skipping.
hope i have been some help

My husband ripped approx 400 CD's through Media Player, audio format and stored on maxtor external hard drive. About 40 GIG. Said to keep in Audio format and download to MP3 later otherwise you lose some quality.
Had a couple of CD's that had copyright issues, ripped through Nero 9

I have the same problem, but I just did it the long way because I'm lazy and just want to make sure it works, but I'll try these ways too
