Simple Camera for around $400

Im going on Holiday in about a month for 2 months, i would like just a simple little Video Camera for around $400, maybe a bit of zoom but i tend to prefer storage over zoom, could someone please suggest some good models for me to go into the store and look at? all the product round ups on this topic are like a year old...
