Finally the government is going to do something about our crappy internet:

THE government will build a national broadband network it claims will be "100 times faster" than current speeds.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said the $43 billion system would be the biggest nation-building project Australia had ever seen.

It will be 51 per cent Government-owned and be partly financed by the issuing of -Aussie infrastructure bonds".

Yes it is goud news until of course we get hit will the bill after we begin to use it....?????
